Residential Manager – July 2019

Community Living Oakville encourages and supports full community participation while providing quality services, supports and opportunities, enabling people with developmental disabilities to live active, rewarding and fulfilling lives. Community Living Oakville is inviting applications for a full-time Residential Manager.

Reporting to the Director of Services and as part of the management team, the Residential Manager will provide leadership and direction to ensure quality residential services are delivered in accordance with Community Living Oakville’s Mission, Vision and Core Values.

Required Technical Competencies

  • Completed post secondary diploma and/or degree in a related discipline i.e. Developmental Service Worker, Behavioural Sciences, Child and Youth Worker
  • Current Safe Management, First Aid
  • Training in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dual Diagnosis and Person Centered Planning an asset
  • Knowledge of Policy and Procedures, OHSA, Services for Persons to Promote the Social Inclusion of Persons with Developmental Disabilities Act, Quality Assurance Measures and Ministry Compliance requirements
  • Minimum 5 years supervisory/management experience providing residential supports
  • Hold and maintain a valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle

Hours of Work

Hours of work will reflect program need and will include evening and occasional weekend hours. Position will provide On-Call support on a rotational basis.
